    Giving the New York Fashion Week Runway a splash of sunshine was what seems to be ‘The Colour’ for SS19. Shining in all its glory was a rich yellow all set to brighten up your day, and outfits.

    2. Well – Plaid

    Making yet another comeback, or should we say, retaining their position on the trend charts are yet again, plaids. A print that is associated with fall, this one has made its way into SS19 too and how!

    3. Binge On Fringe

    Perfectly playful and filling you with a feeling of joy, fringes are the talk of the town. Spotted on the NYFW runway for Tom Ford and Longchamp, the fringed outfits added the perfect amount of drama and movement to the ramp.

    4. Feather Away

    Marc Jacobs marched on the runway with his collection of pastels and exaggerated silhouettes clad in marabou feathers. Feathers are a sure shot way to get the crowd talking as you waltz like a whimsical dream.

    Another common element that ‘bloomed’ on the New York runway was floral. Motifs, embroideries, 3D embellishments, flowers were all over the ramp. Florals were seen at the likes of Carolina Herrera, Rodarte, Anna Sui, in their varied versions.

    A luscious addition to the SS19 collections was the colour red. Spotted on the runway in various styles by Ruby Fang, the pop of bold red was a welcome change on the ramp which was dominated by pastels.
