    We’ve established that 2018 is all about the bold and the beautiful. According to the Pantone Colour Institute, Ultra Violet will be the ruling hue this year. Pantone describes this particular purple shade as “dramatically provocative and thoughtful” and further explains that “Purples have also long been symbolic of counterculture, unconventionality”.

    Violet is a dynamic colour imposed by the contrasts of cultures that it emanates. Numerous celebrities have already come a little ahead of this trend by implementing it in their outfits. If words such as futuristic, witty, original describe your sense of style, this is the colour for you. Incorporating this colour in multiple facets of fashion is a cakewalk. It has the ability to look fabulous on shoes, on blazers, on vests, on bags, on dress pants, on skirts, accessories and make-up. Some celebrities have made this colour a symbol of protests for feminism and have been joined by several fashion lovers. Contrasted well, this colour can do wonders.

  • India Couture Week 2018: Blooming On The Ramp!

    The Indian Couture Week ended with a bang on Sunday. With Bollywood A-Listers turning up to support designers, it was a 4-day breathtaking celebration.

    Continuing with the recap, here is a rundown of what Day 3 and 4 looked like.

    1. Taking bridal lehengas up a notch, Reynu Taandon had the gorgeous Yami Gautam as her showstopper decked in a pastel lehenga with delicate floral embroidery.

    2. Sensual necklines, trendy designs and jewel tones dominated Shyamal and Bhumika’s collection. Dressed in a seafoam green lehenga, Kiara Advani made her debut on the ramp as their showstopper.

    It is that time of the year again. The 11th edition of the Indian Couture Week kicks off bigger than ever! The first two days saw celebrities like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aditi Rao Hydari and Kangana Ranaut walking for some of the best in the industry.
